Police are investigating the homicide of man who was shot in the head.

On March 8, around ten fifty p.m. Wilmington police responded to reports of a man being possibly shot in the area of Cedar and Marshall Streets.

When police arrived, they found a 39 year old male victim on the 900 block of Marshall Street.

He had an apparent gun shot wound to the head and was quickly treated at the scene by local paramedics.

He was then transported to Christiana Hospital Emergency Room, where he later died.


The investigation is still on going and police encourage anyone with more information to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
