People in the community have now one more week to enjoy four acres of sunflowers at Emily’s Produce and support a good cause as well.

These fields of sunflowers are all part of the 2020 Sunflower Spectacular hosted by Emily’s Produce.

People get the chance to enjoy sunflowers of different sizes and colors and take pictures with them.

Tickets are five dollars and a portion of the proceeds will go to Patriot Point, a retreat in Dorchester County that hosts wounded, ill and injured military heroes and their families.

“We don’t put on events like this or projects like this without something in mind for the long term,” said Co-Owner of Emily’s Produce, Kelly Jackson.

“You know bringing families out here and having them feel good about doing so,” said Jackson.

The Sunflower Spectacular will go on until next Sunday.

Kids ages three and under get free admission.
