Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened late Tuesday night in Seaford.

At around 11:50 p.m., troopers responded to the 24000 block of Middlecord Circle for a report of shots fired. On arrival, troopers saw an unoccupied Chevrolet Impala parked on the cul-de-sac with numerous bullet holes. Troopers made contact with the owner, who was staying at a residence nearby, and reported being woken up by the sound of gunshots but did not see anyone outside.

Further investigation revealed that a Buick that was parked next to the Impala was also hit by a bullet. The owner of that vehicle also reported hearing gunshots but did not see anything. There were no reports of injuries as a result of the incident.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact Detective L. Coleman at 302-856-5850 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
