Salisbury Police have arrested a man in connection with robberies last month. The robberies occurred on January 28, 2017 and January 29, 2017. The first robbery was at the La Quinta Inn and Suites located

at 300 S. Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury. Police say an unmasked suspect entered the business and demanded money. The suspect then began to imitate as though he had a weapon and began demanding money

from the employee. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the store on foot. 

The second robbery happened January 29, 2017 the same suspect robbery the Wawa, located at 668 S. Salisbury Blvd. 

Detectives were able to determine that 28 year old Desmond Omar Croswell had robbed both stores. February 02, 2017, with the assistance of the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, Croswell was

arrested without incident. Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant which revealed additional evidence to support this investigation. Croswell was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center

where he is awaiting an initial appearance hearing before a District Court Commissioner. Anyone with information concerning these investigations is encouraged to contact the Salisbury Police Department
