DART and the Food Bank of Delaware kicked off their 22nd Annual Stuff the Bus Thanksgiving Food Drive on Monday to help families in need.
On Monday, moms, dads, and grandparents dropped off all sorts of non-perishable food in Rehoboth Beach.
The food drive will happen throughout the week in different spots across Delaware.
Organizers say their goal is to collect 20 tons and have an impact on families in need this Thanksgiving season.
“Hunger never takes a vacation, and it’s certainly true, and if we all could bring one can, it really would make a difference for your friends and neighbors,” said the DART First State Marketing Specialist, Patty Boyd.
