Denise Sawyer

Denise Sawyer is doing what she loves: meeting new folks and getting in their business. The AP award-winning television journalist has also jumped into the radio industry.

Denise is a radio personality on Power 101.7. She goes by the name D. Sawyer, and is heard weekends on Delmarva, fusing entertainment news with music and heated conversations.

Before working with Power 101.7, Denise worked in the WOCQ-FM studio as an on-air talent from 7 p.m. to midnight. She has also worked in the WRDE-NBC Coast TV in Rehoboth for a couple years and WBOC newsroom for close to two years. D. Sawyer was WBOC's Worcester County beat reporter on Maryland's Eastern Shore. There she reported on breaking and developing stories from Maryland's largest resort town, Ocean City, to rural back roads of Pocomoke City.
