BRIDGEVILLE, Del. (AP) — Police in Delaware say no one was injured after a helicopter that was carrying four people crashed in a farm field.

Delaware State Police said in a statement that the crash occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. The craft came down on a farm in Bridgeville, which is about 30 miles (48 kilometers) from Dover.

State police said the helicopter lost power shortly after it took off and traveled about 300 yards before making a hard landing in a soybean field.

Those onboard included the 62-year-old pilot as well as a 41-year-old woman and two children who were 4 and 7 years old. The passengers were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
