Saturday, Dewey Beach commissioners voted unanimously to begin contract negotiations with Scott Koenig.

If everything goes through, Koenig would soon become Dewey's next town manager.

He was the Dover city manager for almost thirty years and retired from that position last year.

Koeing will officially be named town manager once he and the Town of Dewey Beach reach an employment agreement.
