(Washington, D.C.) - The National Tsunami Warning Center issued an internal test message

some news and weather services picked it up and posted it on their apps and social media.

Coincidentally, the House is holding a hearing Tuesday, February 6, 2018, on the reliability of alerts and warnings.

This follows the Hawaii Missle warning last month.
